These patches will work to soften the skin so that it can be removed easily. Just be sure to consult a doctor if you opt for the prescription patches because if used incorrectly, it can irritate or burn your skin.

Soaking the Foot

You can soak your feet in a number of liquids. Try soaking your feet in chamomile tea for around twenty minutes. This softens your hardened skin.

You can add two tbsps of baking soda to lukewarm water, soaking the affected area. The baking soda helps you dissolve the dead skin so you can proceed to the next step. Soak for around thirty minutes.

You can also choose to do the same process but with Epsom salt.

Scrubbing the Foot

Use a foot file or a pumice stone to rub the calluses away. You always want to soak your feet for some time before scrubbing. Also, wet the utensil you are using to help you remove your dead skin. Work this until your skin turns pink for best results.

A more enjoyable way to remove a callus is by walking in your bare feet on a wet and sandy beach.

Drying the Foot

Dry the foot completely to permanently remove the calluses. You don’t want to let your foot remain damp. Utilize a towel so that you can remove extra moisture, and sprinkle cornstarch on the area. This is so the area will remain dry and won’t get infected.
